Designing and casting your own jewelry can be a great option if you’re trying to recreate an old favorite. It’s also a great way to make something one of a kind for that special someone, or make a unique piece to commemorate a significant occasion.
At Isbell Jewelers, we can take your ideas and turn them into a custom jewelry reality!
First, bring us pictures of the piece of jewelry that you’re wanting to recreate or you can bring your very own design ideas. Tell us all the specifics that you want to include in your very special piece. Anything that you can dream up we can bring to life for you!
We then take those ideas and put them on paper so you can see exactly what your piece of jewelry will look like and can make any changes you want. We want you to be completely satisfied every step of the way!
After your design has been translated into a 2D print, we then input that information into our computer-aided design system and create a 3D wax replica. That wax replica is then encased in an investment material that creates the mold.
Once the investment material is set, it is placed into a kiln where the wax replica is burned away, leaving the final mold cavity. The mold is then filled with either gold or platinum and once it cools the investment material is removed leaving you with the exact piece of custom jewelry you created.
We’ll polish it and make it perfect for you. You’ll then be able to come to the store and pick up your brand new, one of a kind, beautiful piece of jewelry!
